An interview with "Taham" an Iranian rapper from Tehran

Z.Z: Dear Taham, thanks for giving me your time so that we get to know you and your work a little bit better. Can you tell us little bit about Taham?                                                                                                                    
Taham: Taham is Rostam's title in "Shaahnaameh" (Tahamtan). Taham was born in Tehran and has been active in the Persian rap for about 5 years.

AMIR: yes it is. My apologies. I have been unreachable for the past year.

Z.Z: What is Technofunk Collective's music style?

AMIR: We are electronica producers. Our style ranges through a variety of genres. From nu jazz / acid jazz, down tempo, trip-hop to house, intelligent techno and progressive.

Z.Z: What does the name stands for?

Z.Z: I heard that you and Mohsen Namjoo had some concerts in Armenia. Tell us about it, please.


WELL WE HAD FOUR CONCERTS IN YEREVAN, THREE NIGHTS IN ANANTGARDE FOLK MUSIC CLUB AND THE LAST NIGHT IN NARAGATSI INSTITUT. IT WAS REALLY FUN.
THE MUSICIANS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE CONCERT WERE:
1- ME, ABDI BEHRAVANFAR (E-GUITAR, ACCOUSTIC GUITAR, HARMONICA
AND VOCAL)
2- MOHSEN NAMJOO (SETAR
AND VOCAL)
3- EHSAN ZARE GHESHLAGHI (TOMBAK, DAF)
SOME SOLO PERFORMANCE BY ME
AND SOME SOLO PERFORMANCE BY MOHSEN NAMJOO AND THE REST WAS GROUP PERFORMANCE. WE ALSO PLAYED SOME OUR OLDER TRACKS FROM OUR OLD BAND THE MUD.

Nothing much, waiting for the miraculous. Disastrous miracle maybe.

Z.Z: I see you guys have released the selection of your older tracks that we all have been waiting to get a copy of them for a long time. How comes that you released them now?
