Z.Z: Milad-jan, what's up?
After our cancelled gig in last September, We decided to focus on the new album. So we've been very busy writing.
Z.Z: Alright, a new album and a new member in the band. So, how did you meet Alireza Saeedian?
Actually first time I met him in our concert, May 2005, and I'd heard about his previous band called "Scourge". Several months later I met him at one of my friend's, and we talked about the music and of course Iced Earth, our favorite band. Few months later he suggested covering some Iced Earth songs together. The idea developed and we decided to record and release the first ever official tribute cd in
Z.Z: Have you guys started to record the new materials yet?
Yes, in fact we've recorded few things to see how it gonna sound.
Z.Z: Tell us about the sound and the style of it?
It's really hard to explain now, but it's gonna sound a bit different from our debut album. Certainly it is Ahoora, but I think we've been very successful to reach our own original sound in this record. I think the debut album sounds more old-schoolish type of thing now, in compare to the upcoming new one.
Z.Z: Any idea about the time of the release?
You know with all the efforts and suffering, there is no denial that our first album lacked in the matter of production and engineering. So, we are really going to take our time. Therefore there is no fixed date. But if unexpected things cause no delay, I think late summer would be alright.
Z.Z: Well I guess we shall wait and check out the Ahoora's website for the news but do you have any other infos that you want to share with us?
We've just finished the drum sessions and we're preparing to start the guitars in a week or two.
Z.Z: Good luck and please keep us inform on Ahoora's second album. We are all looking forward to hear the result.
Thank you very much for the patience. I'm sure you're going to love it.
